How do Pollen grains form?

Apart from honey, pollen is the main food source for bees, which collect it when they fly to the flowers. The pollen remaining in the bee's chest hairs is combed backwards so that two globules form around the hind legs. Back in the hive, these globules are stored in the comb cells around the brood (the still unborn bees). As the bees collect the pollen on all kinds of flowers, it becomes a motley mixture of grains.
