By paying a fair price for our natural raw materials, we create value for nature. And that's important. For instance, Sapindus trees in Nepal and India are preserved, and it becomes more interesting for farmers to plant trees

In 2020, we used more than 1,116 trees to harvest Seepje super peels. Surely each of those trees absorbs 21.8 kilos of CO2 per year.

Harvesting natural ingredients is positive only if it is done in a sustainable way. A fair price offers room to respect ecosystems, and thus habitats and biodiversity. And that is essential if we want to be able to continue using ingredients in the long term.

We are committed to this, with every ingredient we use. And that starts with our super peels from the Himalayas! Where this year, we want to work with farmers to explore the possibilities of planting additional trees in a sustainable and responsible way.
