Nutiva's organic extra-virgin coconut oil is of very high quality! Nutiva presses the coconut oil in small batches immediately after harvesting to keep the product as fresh as possible. The oil is pure white, smells and tastes really fresh! Any brown spots in the oil is a characteristic of fresh unprocessed coconut oil.

Note! There is no difference between Virgin and extra-Virgin Coconut Oil. Nutiva previously used the term "extra virgin" to emphasise their commitment to quality. However, as a global leader in coconut oil, Nutiva is committed to complying with global regulations that do not allow the term "extra virgin" on the coconut oil product. When you see the term "virgin" on the packaging, you can rest assured that it is still of the highest quality and nothing has changed.
