Ceylon cinnamon is originally from Sri Lanka which used to be called Ceylon. This cinnamon is considered the true cinnamon. Ceylon cinnamon is slightly less sweet than Cassia cinnamon. Cinnamon powder is the finely ground inner bark of shoots from the cinnamon tree.
