Description

Care Plus' anti-tick spray BIO Anti-Tick is made with natural eucalyptus citriodora oil, among other ingredients. It protects effectively against ticks for up to 6 hours. Suitable for children from 3 months onwards and adults, also during pregnancy and breastfeeding. The effectiveness of the extract has been demonstrated in scientific laboratories and field studies. Care Plus® anti-tick spray Bio Anti-Tick has no reported side effects and is the tick repellent of choice.

A tick is a spider-like arthropod parasite that feeds on the blood of animals and humans. Ticks are found in the (vegetable) garden, in low bushes and in the dunes and forests. When sucking blood, ticks can transmit bacteria, viruses and parasites. The best-known and most dangerous bacterium that a tick can transmit is the Borrelia burgdorferi bacterium, the causative agent of Lyme disease. A red ring-shaped spot (erythema migrans) at the bite site is one of the first symptoms of Lyme disease. The disease can eventually lead to serious health problems. Prevent a tick bite with biological spray

Ticks can cause nasty bites. Although tick bites are not painful and sometimes you don't even feel them, they can transmit bacteria, parasites and viruses. On average, one in five ticks (20%) in the Benelux is infected with Borrelia burgdorferi bacteria, the causative agent of Lyme disease.

Care Plus® organic Anti-Insect products are based on natural lemon-eucalyptus extracts (Citriodiol®) and contain no DEET. Lemon eucalyptus is the only natural ingredient suitable as an insect repellent whose effectiveness has been proven in scientific (field) studies. Care Plus® Bio products do not affect plastics such as spectacle frames, cameras and lacquered table tops.
