Seepje is the 100% plant-based and fair trade laundry detergent from Nepal. We wash our clothes using the Sapindus mukorossi fruit, super peels that give off a natural form of soap when touched with water. Together with you, we want to wash the world cleaner and more beautiful!

How Seepje Liquid works

Stuff the drum well with white laundry. Fill the dispensing cap to the threesome for 40ml of Seepje liquid. Pour subsequentempty the dosage cap into the soap dish of your washing machine. Zapp to your favourite wash programme, and spin away!

Volume: 4x 1 litre

With these 4 packs, you will wash away 50 whites and 50 coloureds.

What is Seepje

Seepje makes detergents and all-purpose cleaners from super peels from Nepal. We use only the cleanest ingredients and together we pay a fair price for them. Our mission? A cleaner and more beautiful world!

It started in March 2013, when Melvin and Jasper saw on television how people in Nepal were making natural soap from fruit peels. Peels of the Sapindus mukorossi fruit to be precise. These contain saponin, a natural form of soap in other words, which is released when the peels come into contact with water. Melvin and Jasper came into contact with Hari the Nepalese peel farmer, and decided to scrape together their student loans to ship a first shipment of peels to the Netherlands. They saw an opportunity to make people here happy with a wonderful product, and at the same time improve working and living conditions in Nepal!

There are now nine different soaps, available at some 1,100 shops in the Netherlands and Belgium. And we think this is important. Because the more people use Seepje, the more we can do together for people and the environment. You can wash with the super peels themselves, or with one of the liquid Seepjes. Recently, we even satisfied many a cleaning binge! Will you go for Seepje Sun on your head scent or Seepje Fresh mints scent...?
