Oral hygiene is optimally guaranteed by using Amanprana Mouth Oil Foeniculum. The essential oils of cloves, cinnamon and oregano and the coconut oil provide sufficient antiseptic action with the aim of preventing overgrowth. For long-lasting flavour and fresh breath.
Oral hygiene
Tooth brushing reaches only 60% of the tooth surface and 10% of the entire oral cavity. In our mouths live 10 billion microorganisms (bacteria, viruses, fungi and protozoa). They can inflame the gums and are partly responsible for plaque and cavities in the teeth. Poor oral hygiene allows these micro-organisms to enter the bloodstream through dental abscesses, cavities, gum infections. There, they can cause damage in every organ and cell (focal infections). Especially with low immunity, fatigue, unhealthy diet and stress.
For instance, Hippocrates already stated that arthritis can be cured by pulling a bad tooth. If streptococci (bacteria) attack the heart valves, this is called endocarditis. If bacteria have a love for joints, this is called arthritis and in kidneys, nephritis. Good oral hygiene will drastically reduce the likelihood of focal infections, thus preventing serious consequences of infections. The relationship between inflamed teeth and gums and lung and respiratory infections has been extensively demonstrated. Pregnant women with gum disease are 7.5 times more likely to give birth to premature or underweight babies. Gum disease can cause intestinal problems. More than 200 studies have shown the relationship between diabetes and gum disease. Brushing teeth is not enough.

Oil pulling to detox
As far back as 2000 years ago, Ayrurvedic medical texts 'Charaka Samhita' and 'Sushrutha's Arthashastra' describe oil pulling. Ayurvedic practitioners cleansed their mouths by gargling with vegetable oil. Not only for oral hygiene but also to restore their bodies back to health. More than 30 different ailments could be cured with it. Thanks to Dr Karach, oil pulling has been brought back from obscurity. In Ukraine at a congress, he got a group of cancer specialists and bacteriologists behind him.
Oil pulling is an Ayurvedic detox technique where you pull and push oil into your oral cavity and between your teeth. In the process, oil pulling removes toxins and micro-oganisms from your body. The body gets a chance to repair itself. Oil pulling moves meridians (energy flows) in the body and can dissolve blockages. The tongue is a detoxification organ. A whitened tongue indicates that the body wants to detoxify. Oil pulling accelerates and activates detoxification.
General
Our body is the hero. It provides recovery. Not the oil. Oil pulling does, however, trigger forces in the body. And oil pulling is only part of our health. A healthy lifestyle and healthy diet are indispensable in this regard. Recommended book: 'Oil Pulling Therapy, all disease starts in the mouth. Detoxifying and healing the body through oral cleansing'.by Dr Bruce Fife.
Sesame or sunflower oils are often used for oil pulling because they are cheap. However, they oxidise too quickly due to the oxygen present in the mouth during oil pulling. Amanprana uses 3 extra virgin oils. Coconut oil, which is antiseptic, has a small molecular structure (can go anywhere in between), and a stronger absorbent. The olive oil is rich in chlorophyll, which quickly eliminates smelly breath. And hemp oil has therapeutic effects and a nice flavour.

Why should you use Amanprana mouth oil Foeniculum?
Brushing and flossing teeth is actually a harmful action for teeth and gums. You rub your teeth and irritate your gums. Amanprana Mouth Oil Foeniculum is the wonder boy. Here are 10 good reasons:
- Fresh breath
- White teeth
- Less plaque
- Anti-tartar
- Healthy gums
- Supports your health
- Whole-body detox
- Anti-caries
- Gentle for sensitive teeth
- Animal-friendly body care
1. Fresh breath versus bad breath
To have fresh breath, it is important to have good saliva production in the first place. The more saliva, the more help to get rid of bad odours in your mouth. For this, observe a few basics: drink enough water, chew your food long enough before swallowing, breathe through your nose and not just your mouth, eat high-fibre foods (fibre stimulates saliva production). Those suffering from halitosis - a medical term for bad breath - will definitely benefit from using Amanprana Mouth Oil Foeniculum. Halitosis comes from bacteria in your mouth and on your tongue. They break down food and produce volatile sulphur compounds, which cause bad breath. The antimicrobial action of Amanpana mouth oil controls the oral flora and thus combats bad breath.
In any case, the chlorophyll in mouth oil fights bad breath. Chlorophyll works in two ways: first, as a deodoriser; it neutralises odours in the mouth and throat. Secondly, it promotes healthy digestion - yet often the main reason for bad breath. The chlorophyll in Amanprana Mouth Oil Foeniculum is found in the extra virgin olive oil, one of the ingredients.
In addition, each mouth oil contains herbs that are conducive to fresh breath: in the Amanprana mouth oil Menta contains the essential oil of spearmint, a traditional mouth freshener. Because we know that mint is a killjoy for people using homeopathy, we also made the version Amanprana mouth oil Foeniculum, in which the essential oil of fennel plays the leading role as a breath freshener.
2. White teeth
Did you know that cloves are used to whiten teeth? You could also chew a clove flower daily, but for many people that taste is too strong. If you want to link having white teeth to your complete oral hygiene, then use the Menta mouth oil or the Foeniculum mouth oil, daily for 1 to 3 minutes. Amanprana made it easy for you: clove essential oil is already a component of our mouth oil.
By the way, the colour of your teeth is genetically determined. Depending on the structure of your dentin and enamel, your teeth may or may not be white in colour. Usually, we all start with white teeth, but our genes and lifestyle determine how it continues from there. Of course, you can slow down the discolouration yourself, in a completely natural way. We list the possibilities here:
Maintain excellent oral hygiene with mouth oil (not mouthwash). Brushing your teeth once a day in the evening is the message. Do not brush more often, because you are also brushing away the enamel! This is when your teeth are most vulnerable to cavities. The enamel repairs itself a while later. Brushing your teeth is best complemented by the use of an oral oil, because brushing your teeth only cleans 60% of your teeth and less than 10% of your oral cavity. That means most of the microorganisms are still present in your oral cavity AFTER a thorough brushing and flossing. That is why it is better to use mouth oil and 'oil pulling' after brushing your teeth as well. With oil pulling, you totally cleanse your mouth. The oil picks up bacteria, viruses and fungi. When you spit them out, you also spit out those micro-organisms. The layer of oil left in your mouth also prevents new organisms from quickly attaching themselves to your teeth and gums.
Using only mouth oil in the morning after waking up is perfect. Brushing and flossing are really not necessary then. You could also oil briefly with mouth oil after every meal. Better than brushing your teeth with a toothbrush.
Don't smoke; that too will give you yellow teeth.
3. Less plaque
Dental plaque is created by bacteria and deposits as a thin, sticky layer on all parts of your teeth during the day. That layer consists of dissolved food particles and mucus. You also produce oral mucus throughout the day. The bacteria (including many lactic acid bacteria) break down sugar and other carbohydrates from your food into acid. It is important to remove plaque every day, otherwise it hardens and becomes tartar. By the way, plaque also sticks to braces, fillings, crowns, bridges, implants and dentures. How can you curb plaque? By using mouth oil. After all, mouth oil inhibits the growth of lactic acid bacteria. The oil layer left in your mouth after spitting it out prevents bacteria from adhering to teeth and gums.
4. Anti-tartar
When you don't remove plaque every day, tartar forms. A layer of undissolved food particles hardens under the influence of saliva and what you drink. Tartar is classified into two groups: subgingival and supragingival. Subgingival is the tartar that partly forms in the pocket (the place where your tooth disappears into the tooth tissue); supragingival is the tartar that occurs on top of the gums, on the tooth or on the molar. Your saliva contains salts, calcium and phosphate, which can deposit on your teeth. These salts react with plaque present, which can initiate tartar. A balanced oral environment is important: if your mouth's PH level is too high, you will be more susceptible to tartar but will get fewer cavities. A low PH in your mouth counteracts tartar, but then causes cavities more easily. Again, the message is: take care of your mouth, and take care of your mouth completely. Brush and floss once a day, rinse your mouth with a mouth oil several times a day.
While brushing and flossing can pry off upcoming tartar, oil pulling will take the particles and leave behind the protective oil layer, which will safeguard your teeth from destructive acid immediately after brushing. In the same context, pay attention to the kind of water you drink: too hard water causes tartar faster than soft water. If you live in an area where tap water is hard, do not drink it.
5. Healthy gums
How do you know if your gums are healthy? Firstly, it is pink in colour and is well located around your teeth. Furthermore, it is well attached: just as your tooth is well attached via the root in your jawbone, so your gums are well attached to the jawbone and to your teeth. That whole structure by which your tooth is attached is called the periodontium. Where your tooth disappears into the tooth tissue, there is a gap and that is the pocket. Usually, the pocket is 1 to 3 millimetres deep, but it can be larger in weaker gums. This is where food particles and the like can collect and that can be the impetus for plaque. So it is important to take excellent care of your mouth and teeth. To keep potentially battered pockets clean, mouth oil is a great help; thanks to the oil layer, food particles don't get a chance to stay behind in your mouth. By the way: healthy gums don't bleed when brushing, flossing or during cleaning with toothpicks. Amanprana mouth oil combats inflamed gums and heals inflamed gums thanks to its antimicrobial action.
6. Supports your health
In our mouths live 10 billion micro-organisms (bacteria, viruses, fungi and protozoa). As long as your oral flora is in balance, there is nothing wrong. If one species starts to dominate, infections sometimes occur. They can inflame the gums and are partly responsible for plaque and cavities in your teeth. Poor oral hygiene allows these micro-organisms to enter the bloodstream through dental abscesses, cavities or gum infections. There, they can cause damage in every organ and cell (focal infections), especially with low immunity, fatigue, unhealthy diet and stress. Poor oral health is also associated with other conditions, for example, high blood pressure, heart disease, arteriosclerosis, arthritis, stomach ulcers, lung infections, diabetes, gastrointestinal problems, nervous system disorders, and even, in the case of pregnancy, premature births. Chlorophyll, present in olive oil - an ingredient of Amanprana mouth oil Foeniculum - is a good source of antioxidants. The US NIH (National Institutes of Health) showed that chlorophyll also has anti-carcinogenic properties.
7. Whole-body detox
Amanprana mouth oil Foeniculum can also be used during a detox cure. While detoxing, you can draw oil for 20-30 minutes daily, an Ayurvedic detox technique that releases blockages and promotes the flow of the meridians.
8 Anti-caries
Every time you eat, a burst of acid occurs in your mouth. The sugars and starches you eat are converted into acids, which (temporarily) dissolve tooth enamel. During this 'time-out', your teeth are extra susceptible to tooth decay (caries). When you don't regularly oil with mouth oil and clean your mouth, you create the ideal environment for tooth decay. This occurs in three stages: first, a white, milky stain appears on the tooth. This is the signal that the tooth enamel has deteriorated. A dentist or dental hygienist does not yet need to intervene; salvation is still possible: brushing, cleaning (flossing or toothpaste) between the teeth and rinsing the entire mouth can still stop it and restore your tooth enamel. Those who fail to address that first stage will soon be faced with stage two: dentin deterioration, or the well-known "hole" in your tooth enamel. Your dentist will have to put in a filling here, as the self-healing power of your teeth is nipped in phase two. If you don't visit your dentist or dental hygienist immediately, you will find that the cavity quickly gets bigger: once a decay process has started, it progresses faster and faster. It can get even worse: the dentine deterioration can creep deeper and deeper until it reaches the tooth nerve. Such deterioration causes 'tooth pain'. Meanwhile, the dentin does get very soft and the hole in your tooth gets bigger and bigger. At this stage, your dentist has to start 'unsealing' already, itself also a painful procedure. So you have nothing but to take excellent care of your teeth. Preferably brush your teeth and rinse your mouth with mouth oil in the evening and rinse your mouth with mouth oil in the morning and possibly in the afternoon without flossing or brushing. Mouth oil prevents caries thanks to its anti-microbial action.
9. Gentle on sensitive teeth
Sensitive teeth are teeth whose dentin slowly becomes exposed; this happens when the protective tooth enamel is missing. Inside your dentin are tiny tubes containing nerve endings. Too hot or too cold food or drink comes into contact with these, causing the familiar sharp stab of pain. Your teeth become sensitive for a number of reasons: brushing your teeth too hard, gum recession, grinding your teeth in your sleep or gum inflammation. When you brush too hard, you can permanently polish away your tooth enamel and then your buffer is gone. So better avoid an electric toothbrush. Tooth grinders also wear away their tooth enamel. Another thing hard brushing is not good for is for your gums; if you brush too hard, more sensitive gums can also start to recede. Weakened gum tissue can result in gum inflammation. Conversely, if you have frequent gum infections, your gum tissue can weaken. In both cases, this results in gum recession and exposes your dentin. Sensitive teeth and gums therefore benefit not only from excellent dental care, but also from thorough yet gentle care. Soft brushing is the first thing to do, then you should definitely use Amanprana Foeniculum mouth oil to clean and care for the oral cavity. The essential oils of cloves, cinnamon and oregano and the coconut oil provide a good antiseptic effect, an ideal help against inflammations. Mouth oil is better than brushing teeth because it does not rub teeth and gums. Especially sensitive teeth benefit from this. In addition, Amanprana mouth oil contains cloves, a plant that slightly numbs the nerves in your teeth. Amanprana mouth oil makes your teeth and oral cavity healthier and therefore less sensitive.
10. Amanprana is animal-friendly
No ingredients in cosmetics for which (cruel) tests have been done on animals. That is the basic principle behind the 'Leaping Bunny Label'. Amanprana Mouth Oil Menta and Amanprana Mouth Oil Foeniculum also have this label. It means that neither our mouth oil, nor the ingredients separately, were tested on animals.
