What is Snow Fungus?

The Snow Fungus, or Tremella fuciformis is a fungus. The fungus is the fruiting body of a fungus. The fungus produces fern leaf-like fruiting bodies. The name came about because the fungus can remotely resemble snow when branches are full of it.

Origin of the Snow Fungus Mushroom

You find the Snow Fungus mushroom mainly in the tropics on the dead branches of deciduous trees. In the Netherlands, you find them mostly in spring and late autumn. External features
