Description
Coconut milk Pure Organic certified
An unmissable ingredient in Eastern cuisine in particular: coconut milk. The Coconut Milk Pure Bio is a liquid obtained by mixing grated coconut with warm water and then squeezing it out. Why is TerraSana's coconut milk so unique? - 100% natural (no stabiliser, such as guar gum or carrageenan extract) - high percentage of fat i.e. approx 22% fat (vs 16% of many other coconut milk brands) - 80% coconut. Coconut milk is widely used in Asian, African and Caribbean cuisine. Besides meat and chicken dishes, this ingredient can also be used for soups, sauces, ice cream, biscuits, desserts and cocktails. Ideal for people who cannot tolerate cow's milk.
This organic coconut milk is simply the best. It consists of 80% of coconut and 20% of water. That's probably the highest coconut percentage you can find. We also don't extract fat from the coconut, but keep the fat percentage naturally high (22%). So you can be sure you have the best quality pure organic coconut milk in your hands. The texture is super full and the taste delicious and pure. Did you know that you can use the coconut cream (the thick part of the coconut milk) very well for (vegan) baking or cream? In that case, put the can in the fridge overnight before baking. Always handy to have a few tins of Pure Organic coconut milk in the house, because you can simply add it to everything!
How to use coconut milk
Place the sealed can of Organic Coconut Milk in the fridge for a few nights to separate the fat from the liquid. You can use the cream as vegan cream or as a thickener in cakes and desserts, the liquid is delicious in smoothies and curries. More of a fan of a homogeneous consistency?
